LEGION RIFLE SHOOTING The Hawera troop, 639 points, beat the Stratford troop, 596 points, when an inter-cup Legion of Frontiersmen's shoot was held at Stratford. Frontiersman C. Roberts, who gained the possible of 75, was the most successful markman among the winners, while Lieut. Prideaux with 72 points was the most successful Stratford shot. In the following detailed scores the first three totals are the points gained on the different ranges, and the fourth is the aggregate:— Hawera troop: Lieut.
