PATEA RIFLE SHOOTING

Conditions were ideal for shooting on Saturday on the Patea range, when there was a good attendance of members and visitors for the application and tile competition, Great interest was taken in the tile practice, C. Martin, the winner, knocking all the tiles down. N. Mitchell secured the possible in the application. A team from -Hawera captained by R. Shephard also competed. Waterland 22, 15, 37; C. Ilillinr 22, 15. 37; J. Smart 22. 15, 37; G. Fraser 21, 15, 36: C. Savage 21, 15, 36; G. Hilliar 20, 15, 35; D. Roofs 21. 15, 36; T. Floyd 18, 15, 33; I. Brunton 18, 15, 33; J. Cunningham 21, 10, 31; S. Bates 19. 5, 24; B. Usher 13, 10, 23; J. Bates 22, 0, 22; S. Fennett 16, 5, 21; E. C. Gilbert 20, 0, 20; C. Beauchamp 15, 5, 20; B.
