WOMEN'S DIVISION
Stratford: Mrs. Burton presided over the monthly meeting. Two new members were welcomed. Votes of sympathy were passed to Mrs. Hight and Mrs. Fawcett. A gift of 10s will be sent to the leper fund. A circular was received from headquarters on gift fighter planes for Britain, and £5 was donated, £1 each from two members being also received. Seventy-two garments were forwarded to the Lady Galway guild. The competition for a novelty costing not more than Is resulted: Mrs. Wisnewski 1, Mrs. Petty 2, Mrs. Rogers 3. A demonstration was given by Mrs.^ Alger on making bags from felt hats. 'Hostesses were Mesdames Rogers and Cartwright.
