OKOKE DISTRICT NEWS

At the weekly flag five hundred party held in the Okoke hall players at the winning table were Mesdames C. Gilbert and E. Whittaker and Messrs. T. Darke ar.d Denne. Consolation prizes went to Mesdames T. Wright, V. Jones and Messrs. T. Grech and Rex Barham. A competition was won by Mr. D. Andrews. Miss Joy Murray has returned to Uruti after staying a few days with her aunt, Mrs. V. Darke. Mr. T. Wright spent the week-end at his home. Miss Maureen Jones has returned to New Plymouth after spending the school vacation with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. V. Jones. Miss K. Darke is staying at Inglewood. Mr. A. Blundell has returned to Feildirg after spending his vacation with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. Blundell. Mr. P. Wright has left for New Plyrr.outh.
