Farewell Reviewed. The success attending the farewell to the Stratford members of the third echelon was reviewed at a meeting of the Stratford patriotic committee, It was stated that 70 invitations were sent to the soldiers, inviting them and a party of three relatives or friends each. Nearly all men invited were present, while there was an excellent attendance of the public. The door takings amounted to £30 6s. Thanks were extended to the women helpers, members of the Stratford Returned Soldiers' Association, and all who contributed in any way to the success of the function.
