Don Ameche ancl Andrea Leeds are starred in "Swanee River," the life story of Stephen C. Foster. which screens finally to-day at the State Theatre. Filmed in technicolour, the film features many of Foster's best-loved songs. Aclion, adventure. comedy. romance. and all the thrills of the old west are plentifully provided in "Viva Cisco Kid," which heads the double feature programme commencing to-morrow at the State Theatie, with Cesar Romero again superblv playing the dashing Cisco Kid. O. Henry's lovahle outlaw out-shoots. out-rides and outwits Ihe tonghcst. roughcst gang of cut-throats evcr asscmbled on one screen —and his mind is not really on his work because his real aim in lifc is winning lovely Jcan Rogers. Chris-Pin Martin again plays Gordito, whose fruitless attempts to check Cisco's romantic inclinations provide plenty of laughs. Martin,

in his lumbering way, also aids Romero in blocking a robbery, eluding a posse and breaking up the desperadoes. The associate feature is "What Would You Do, Chums?" a grand comedy-drama of Cockney life starring Syd Walker.
