inglewood county A start will be made with this seasons ragwort eradication work in the Inglewood county towards the end of the present month, said the inspectOr, Mr. A. G. Jenkins, stating that already 22 applications had been received from farmers requiring assistance. The applications were for work well spread from September to January, so that the position with regard to labour should be made easier. The inspector suggested that the first property to receive attention should be the island at Tarata. Crs. W. R. Moir. F. West, D. E. L. Rose and tbe chairman, Cr. F. Lawrence, were re-appoirited a committee to deal with ragwort eradication matters.
