HAAV’i FINES AT LOWER HUTT. By Te’egraph.—Press Association. Wellington, April 12. Before Mr. Page, S.M., at the Upper Hutt yesterday, William Gorrie was charged with unlawfully having opossum skins in his possession. Andrew George Gorrie, his brother, was charged with having taken or killed opossums without a license. Over 300 skins were found on William Gorrie’s premises. He was fined £4O and Andrew Gorrie £2O.
