TROUBLE AT HOROHORA
DEBRIS BLOCKS TURBINES. By Telegraph,—Press Association. Auckland, April 12. Further serious trouble at Horohora will result in part of the plant being closed down to enable the turbine inlet to be cleared of pumice and ■ debris, following upon the .recent fall of rock at the new waterfalls at Arapuni. The chairman of the Auckland Electric Power Board says that if the plant at Penrose is not running by June the’ board will be in a very unhappy position. The position is becoming acute.
