MOTOR SERVICES TAKEN OVER ACQUISITION IN CANTERBURY. TRYING OUT THE POSSIBILITIES. By Telegraph,—Tress Assoc Istien. Christchurch, Last Night. The Railway Department has taken over the motor bus services running between Christchurch and Kowai Bush, Springfield and Coalgate. These are not suburban services the distances ranging from 48 to 38 miles. All the services were operating in opposition to the railways and carrying many passengers.
