PRIMARY SCHOOL SPORTS. The results of the sports held at the Hawera Main School on Wednesday, Thursday and yesterday, under the new “clan” system inaugurated a few months ago by the headmaster, Mr. F. A. Bates, are given below. The performances of children in these sports are also being taken into consideration in the choosing of the teams to represent the school in the approaching Dixon banner competition.
