ALLEGATION OF ASSAULT
AUCKLAND WATERSIDE CASE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Dec. 3. Joseph Andre, aged 53, was charged in the Police Court with having, on December 2, assaulted George Cargill, causing actual bodily harm. Sergeant Edwards said Cargill was stabbed and had five stitches put in his groin. It could not be said it was accidental, but there might have been some provocation. Accused was remanded on bail.
