GILMOUR CUP MATCH. Playing on the Vogeltown green in a Gilmour Cup match on Thursday, Fitzroy defeated the combined Vogeltown and Paritutu Clubs by 121 points to 68. Details are as follow, Fitzroy skips mentioned first: — Spiers 20 v. Lovell 22. Bennett 35 v. Looney 10. Dingle 34 v. Somerton 15. McCarty 31 v. Dickson 21. Totals: Fitzroy, 121; Vogel townParitutu 68. TOURNAMENT AT STRATFORD. The results of the Stratford Bowling Club’s evening tournament to date are: Leach 15 v. Anderson 6. Sanderson 19 v. Olliver 8. Amess 9 v. McElroy 10. Sanderson 13 v. Amess 15. Sayers 7 v. Leach 20. Leach 7 v. Amess 14. Only one game was played in the week-end pairs last week-end, the result being: Summerfield and McElroy 23 v. J. Smart and Leach 18. The Avon Bowling Club have challenged the Stratford Club for the Avon Stars and the match will take place on the Stratford green at 2.3 J on Saturday. The holders are Lindop, J. Smart, P. Skoglund, Amess, and the challengers are Walker, Woods, F. Jackson and C. Jackson.
