RED CROSS SOCIETY
MEETING OF COMMITTEE. A meeting of the New Plymouth Red Cross Society was held last night, the Mayor, Mr. F. E. Wilson, presiding in the absence of the president, the Rev. T. R. Richards. Sister Corkill’s report showed that a good deal of valuable work had been done in relieving distressed families. The report , was adopted. The question of first aid and home nursing classes for next season was discussed at length. It was decided to hold the classes separately from the St. John’s Ambulance classes. The date of the next meeting was fixed for the first Friday in February.
