DRIVER SEVERELY INJURED. By Tvlt^r.pL.—Prrsß AMoclalion. Hamilton, Dec. 2. A level crossing smash occurred at To Aroha this morning when a car, driven by T. Bowcring and containing Boy Scouts, was struck by a train. The car was carried some distance on the cowcatcher, The driver was jammed under the steering wheel, and very badly injured. None of the boys was hurt.
