ALLEGED MANSLAUGHTER
SENSATIONAL EVIDENCE. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. London, Nov. 29. During the trial of two Manchester medical men. Dr. Arthur Holden and Dr. Frederick Webster, for the alleged manslaughter of a young unmarried woman, who died suddenly- at Dr. Webster’s surgery, Police Inspector Blenkinsop, one of the chief witnesses for the Crown, was asked why he attempted to commit suicide after the case arose. Inspector Blenkinsop said it was because he was disrated for not arresting the doctors. Inspector Blenkinsop further admitted that he wrote on a slate the statements of the two doctors but could not explain who had since rubbed it out.
