COMPETITION RESULTS. The results of the competitions held in connection with the Frankleigh Park Christmas Fair are: Number of beads in bottle (344), Mrs. A. Williams 345 (Cake); number of peas in bottle (791), Mr. E. Beale correct number; cake stand. Miss P. Julian: Sunshine purse, Mrs. Loveridge; Black Orpington rooster, Mr. Evans; quarter ton of coal, R. E. Sutton. Ladies’ nail driving.—Mrs. A. Knight (nine hits, four inch nail); men's nail driving, Mr. J. W. [Spindler (3 hits four inch nail); candle lighting: Adults, Mr. J. Hutchenson 37 candles; juvenile, Master N. Boswell, 17 candles. Name of doll. ’‘Grace.” Four guessed the correct name, and in the draw off it was won by Mrs. F. P. Harrison.
