HEAVY STORM IN DUNEDIJL By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin. Last Night. Heavy rain was experienced in the city this afternoon. The downpour a phenomenal one and continued fcr acouple of hours without any tipparent let up. Though no ecriouß damage was reported, considerable inconvenience wa® caused at the intersections in tho city, where both foot and vehicular traffic was exceptionally heavy with the five o’clock rush, as the storm channels were unable to carry away the heavy volume of water that rushed down from the hilly streets. The Maori Hill tram line was submerged at one point und covered to » depth of several inches wi' gravel, v»nn the result that the tram was derailed aud considerable delay caused, lowardfl nightfall the vain eeaseil. but the weather is still tlireat-niiiiz
