ATHLETICS.
TO-DAY’S RUN. Members of the New Plymouth Amateur Athletic Club are to undertake a run at the Fitzroy beach to-day. The afternoon will be spent similarly to the run at Moturoa a fortnight ago. The javelin and discus have arrived in good condition, so that members intending taking on this branch of athletics will now be able to start right away. The events on Tuesday night will be a 440 yards race in both divisions, a girls’ 75 yards, and a high jump.
