GERMAN DISARMAMENT
FULFILMENT CLAIMED . CONTROL SHOULD CEASE RELATIONS WITH FRANCE By Tetecrach —Presa Assn.—Copyright Received Nov. 24, 7 5 p.m. Berlin, Nov. 23. “Germany expects foreign Government* to note the fact that she has fulfilled the disarmament conditions for the recall of the Allied military mission and proved that she is ready to carry out her obligations under the Versailles’ Treaty,” said the Chancellor, Dr. Stresemann, in the Reichstag debate on foreign policy. He added that the technical points not yet settled did not necessitate the further imposition upon Germany of the psychological burden due to the presence of for-, eign officers, which was incompatible with Germany’s entry into the League of Nations and adhesion to the Locarno Pact. Moreover, Germany maintained that the demand for her general disarmament ia incompatible with her equality within the League. That other nations should be at liberty regarding disarmament while one is completely disarmed and controlled was unfair. Referring to the Thory conversations, -Dr. Stresemann expressed the opinion that Franco-German relations could be stated in terms of mathematical formula. If the will to solve the difficulties existed, a solution would be found.
