STRATFORD SHOW
Late entries will be received for the Stratford Show up to Thursday, 25th November, at 8 p.m. No extra fee will be charged, and intending exhibitors are asked to notify the secretary as soon as possible. Entries received up to Saturday evening are fully- up to previous years. Many new breeders in the stock sections have come forward, replacing those who have gone out of breeding or left the district. Word has been received that Messrs. Bowen and Wilson are not exhibiting on this coast during, this show season, and in consequence the Association is looking to the local farmer'to fill the classes in the pig section. With the fresh accommodation provided for pigs, intending exhibitors should have no hesitation in forwarding their stock. With the inclusion of a number of Novice classes in the Pedigree Jersey Section, young breeders and farmers have a splendid opportunity of exhibiting without competing against the old-estab-lished breeders and prize-winners. With the North Island Championship for the Friesian sectMW. being held in Stratford, a good entry is assured. The sheep entries are probably the strongest yet seen in Stratford, and this fact alone will induce other breeders to compete. The Industrial classes are good, but there is still room for a large number of entries. Particular attention is drawn to the Photographic section, where very striking prizes are offered.
