MILITARY CHURCH PARADE
NEW PLYMOUTH COMPANIES. The annual clrurch parade of Headquarter Wing, A Company and C Company cadets took place in New Plymouth yesterday morning. The parade, under the command of Captain L. W. Andrew, V.C., N.Z.S.C., mustered 400 strong including eight officers, at the Coronation Hall, Gill Street, whence they marched to the Empire Theatre where a Presbyterian service was conducted by the Rev. J. D. Wilson. The Regimental Band, under Lieutenant F. W. G. McLeod, led tho parade, and also played at the service. At the conclusion of the service tho companies marched to the post office where they were joined by thatportion of the parade which had attended St. Joseph’s Church. The men were then marched back to the Coronation Hall where they were dismissed. The parade which was an impressive one was viewed by a large number of onlookers and the steady bearing and smart appearance of the men on parade was noticeable.
