MR. J. J. STAPLES REPORT. ’ By Telegraph—Press Asap.—Copyright. Sydney, Nov. 19. Mr. J. J. Staples (formerly of NeW Plymouth), who represented New Zealand at the recent convention of the Association of. Advertising Clubs of the World at Philadelphia, has arrived in Sydney en route for Christchurch. He said Americans took advertising very seriously and were applying it to the amelioration of all sorts of conlitions, as well as for commercial purposes. It was decided during the convention to seek the assistance of prominent advertising men .to evolve some scheme to stem the tide of unpopularity of Americans abroad.
