BRITISH LIBERALS
RE-ESTABLISHING UNITY. MR. LLOYD GEORGE’S OFFER. By Telegraph-—Press Assn. —Copyright. London, Nov. 18. The Daily News states that Mr. Lloyd George has unconditionally offered to place the whole of the interest upon his famous war ehest at the disposal of the Liberal Party, excepting that the cost of the land campaign and the industrial inquiry shall be first charges thereon. This is the outcome of the deliberations of the sub-committee, which was seeking a method of re-establishing Liberal unity, especially with regard to the finance of the organisation. It proposes the establishment of a new management committee agreeable to all parties under a neutral chairman.
