SEDDON COLLEGE INQUIRY

CHARGES NOT SUSTAINED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Nov. 18. Mr. J. 11. Salmon, S.'M., ths Commissioner who held an inquiry into the management of the Seddon Technical College, Auckland, found that Mr. Laing’s allegations were not sustained; •liat the relations of the principal with the staff were satisfactory; and that the further allegations against the principal were not sustained. The Commissioner suggests that a proportion of the cost of the inquiry be paid by Mr. Laing and makes a recommendation for the facilitation of transfers of the Technical College teachers where necessary.
