AUSTRALIAN WHEAT CROP

PROSPECT OF GOOD HARVEST. By Telegraph—Proas Asas. —Coayrlfht. Melbourne, Nov. 17. A review of the prospects of the grain harvest, says that the total yield in Queensland will not exceed 500,000 bushels. The grain is good and seed supplies are assured for next year. The outlook in South Australia lias been improved by good rains. Victorian crops are generally looking well and good returns are anticipated. In Westralia good rains have maintained the early promise of an excellent yield and the crops should be/a record in many districts. In New South Wales good yields from the early sown crops are practically assured, but the late crops are backward, thin and weedy and require good rains and cool weather for satisfactory returns.
