McCarthy beats jamito. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. McCarthy. (Australia) was awarded a decision over Jamito after 15 rounds had been fought to-night, Jamito made the pace from the jump but McCarthy proved a much improved boxer. It was a splendid contest, and many thought Jamito had got home. The decision met with a mixed reception.
