CHILD BURNED TO DEATH
NIGHTDRESS CATCHES FIRE.

Invercargill, Last Night
The two-year old son of Mr. J. W. Fairweather, of Scott’s Gap, has died from burns. During a brief absence of his parents the child climbed on to a chair and then on to a table and lighted a candle, which ignited his nightdress. At the inquest a verdict was returned accordingly.
