Mr. 11. P. Hartland, district traffic manager, was in New Plymouth yesterday on departmental business. Mr. R. J. Hogg, secretary to the Midhirst Dairy Company, left last night on a holiday visit to Auckland. Archdeacon Evans, of New Plymouth, has received information that the consecration of Bishop Cherrington, the bishop of the new Waikato Taranaki diocese, will take place at Hamilton on Dec-on die r 12. •
