AGAINST REVOLUTION
MRS. PANKHURST JOINS CONSERVATIVES. By Telegraph—Press Assn —Copyright. London, Nov. 15. Mrs. Pankhurst has joined the Conservatives. She announced her decision ar a luncheon at the Ladies’ Carlton Club, where Mrs. Baldwin was the guest of honour. Mrs. Pankhurst said that careful consideration had convinced her that what little influence she possessed, chiefly among women, must be thrown on the side of the Conservatives, even if, through long tradition, there were some things to which she could not fully adhere. She belived that there were two parties in the country, the constitutional and the revolutionary. If she could get the 8.000,000 women’s votes the situation might be saved. Revolutionary violence threatened England. It was proved by the alar ming results of the recent municipal elections.
