CRICKETERS FOR ENGLAND
SELECTORS APPOINTED.

Messrs W. S. Brice, Wellington, W. R, Patrick, •Christchurch, and S. Williams, Dunedin, were appointed by the New Zealand Cricket Council to-night as selectors for the New Zealand cricket teain to tour England.
It was decided to circularise the minor associations as follows: “With a view to giving the minor associations a chanoe of representation in the tour to Englapd, it is proposed that a match be played at Wellington on December 21 and 22, between Wellington and the combined minor associations' representatives. Can you nominate from your association players worthy of inclusion? The players chosen will require to pay their own expenses.’’
The secretary of New Zealand Cricket, Ltd., reported that applications for the shares were very satisfactory. and the company hopes to go to allotment at au early date.
