LANDSLIDE IN WALES
RIVER FLOODS A TOWN. By Telegraph—Press Amu.— Copyright. London, Nov. 14. Heavy rain caused a mountain side at. Cwra, near Abbvale, to slide towards the river bed, which has now been raised above the street level. The river is rushing into the street and undermining the houses. All the inhabitants have quitted the town. Received Nov. 15, 5.5 p.m. London, Nov. 14. The Cwm floods necessitated the blowing up of a huge concrete river wall temporarily diverting the water from the main road. The situation is precarious. Forty homes have been desolated and the damage exceeds £lOO,OOO.
