AMATEURS AND PRESS ARTICLES. NEW RULE PROPOSED. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. Received Nov. 14, 11.5 p.m . London, Nov. 14. The Lawn Tennis Association will submit at its annual meeting in December a new rule forbidding amateur players writing press reports, or giving interviews for the same purpose in connection with tournaments, matches or competitions in which they are playing. The proposal is encountering much opposition from player-writers.
