East (Wellington) 6—5, 6—l. MEETING OF DELEGATES. Hastings, Dec. 29. In a formal meeting of tennis delegatds of the various associations held last evening the following resolutions were passed: (1) That the meeting recommend to the management committee of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association that the rules be altered to provide a general meting of delegates during the progress of each annual tournament; (2) that it is desirable that annual championships be held in one centre only in each of the North and South Islands, alternating annually.

The chairman (Mr. Goss) pointed out that the resolutions passed must be dealt with by the local associations, and if approved, then forwarded to the governing body.
