MARAMA HELD UP. SHORTAGE OF FIREMEN. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Dec. 29. The Union Company’s steamer Marama, which has been re-commissioned, was to leave Wellington at noon to-day for Sydney, but when the sailing hour arrived the vessel was two firemen short. She left the wharf at 12.15 p.m. for the stream, where she is awaiting the remainder of the crew. She has nearly 200 passengers.
