There has been an excellent demand, which is likely to be resumed after the holidays, as the retail price of Is 8d per pound is stimulating consumption. New Zealand choicest 180 s to 184 s, unsalted 184 s to 186 s; Australian salted 174 s to 1765, unsalted 174 s to 178 s. Cheese.—Fair demand and a strong tone, as supplies for some weeks will be small. New Zealand 122 s to 1245. Ali;. Wright, of the New Zealand Agricultural Department, visited Manchester to superintend the packing of 1000 boxes of butter in cartons as cabled in October.
