Received Dec. 21, 9.40 p.m. London, Dec. 2t. Cargoes are firm, but the demand is poor. They are occasionally 3d higher. Parcels are firm at 3d to fid dearer. Poona and Buteshire parcels sold at 53/-. LONDON TALLOW MARKET. Received Dee. 21, 9 40 p.m. London, Dec. 20. At tlie tallow sales 1524 casks were offered and 886 sold at late rates, with an occasional fid decline. Quotations: Mutton, 42/6 to 37/6; beef, 43/6 to 37/5. NEW YORK EXCHANGE. Received Dec. 21, 9.40 p.m. London, Dec. 20. The exchange on New York is 4.60% dots.
