EXAMINATION RESULTS.

PROBABLE DATES OF RELEASE.

Christchurch, December 19. The University Senate will meet in Dunedin on January 17. The results of the University scholarship and matriculation examinations will be considered in committee on January 16. The scholarship results will probably be telegraphed next day, but the matriculation results may not be available until a day or two later. It is considered improbable that the resultes of the degree examinations conducted by New Zealand examiners will be available before the end.of January, although an effort was made to have them ready before the middle of that month. The dual system of marking and the fact that th<s is the first year of its operation will probably involve delay, which will be decreased in subsequent years.
