At the Magistrate’s Court forty-nine seamen were convicted of being parties to a strike, and each was fined £2 and costs. DUNEDIN PROSECUTIONS. Dunedin, Last Night. A case was continued in the Magistrate’s Court to-day in which the inspector of awards proceeded against T. Outram, a seaman in the steamer Kini, for a .penalty of £lO for participation in an Illegal strike. Judgment was entered for £2 with costs. Other cases of a similar nature wore adjourned.
