SET ON FIRE.
FATE OF OFFICIAL’S HOUSE. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, Dec. 19. Armed men set fire to the house of Gordon Campbell, Lord Glenavy’s son, in Dublin. The raiders knocked at the front door and aaked to see Mrs. Campbell, whom they ordered to remove the children, as they had been instructed to set fire to the place. Mr. Campbell assisted his wife to remove the children, after which the incendiaries sprinkled the rooms with paraffin and set fire to the house. Four rooms were ablaze when )the fire brigade arrived. They succeeded in saving the remainder, but the furniture and most of the interior fittings [were all destroyed. Mr. Campbell, who is an official in the Ministry of Labor, has helped to adjust hundreds of labor disputes during the last few years. Two bombs were thrown into the office of the Irish Independent, but no lamage was done.
