The Dally Chronicle’s Paris correspondent states it is now very doubtful whether the Slki-Carpentier match will be held. The sportsmen .who offered £5OOO for the match now refuse to devote the proceeds tq scientific laboratories unless they are first reimbursed from the match. Siki insists oh the restoration of his license, and refuses to appeal before a commission of inquiry. Paris, Deg. 12. The Boxing Federation has sanctioned the Carpentier-Siki match, provided the whole proceeds and cinema rights go to scientific research.
