THE TRAMWAYS.
LAST WEEK’S RETURNS. The number of passengers carried by the New Plymouth trams during the week ended last night was 32,832 and the revenue was £348 Ils lid. Compared with the corresponding week last year these figures show a decrease of 2158 passengers and £l7 13s Bd. Two hours were lost at a busy time on Thursday evening, and a similar period was lost on Friday afternoon, through a break-down in the power supply. Details of last week’s traffic are:—
