Miss Elma Carthew returned from Auckland this week. Mrs. 'Muller leaves for Auckland early next week.
Miss L. R. Baker left for Auckland on Thursday. Miss Humphries and Miss Sydney Capel leave for Whaua Whaua (Hawke’s Bay) early in the week. Airs. F. A. Smith (nee Miss Keitha Wallach) left for her future home in Scotland by the Otaki last week. Miss Flo Winfield returned from Auckland on Tuesday. 'Mrs. Winfield returns on. Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Truby King (Stratford) are spending a month at The Gables, New Plymouth.
Miss Mavis Waller left yesterday for Auckland, where she will 'be the guest of her sister, Mrs. A. J. .Weir, Devonport.
Airs. Skinner and Miss Devenish return to New Zealand from England in the lonic, and should arrive in New Plymouth next Tuesday.
Mr. and Mrs. J. Rollo motored to Wellington this week to. meet their son, Mr. Stuart Rollo, who arrives from England in the lonic. Miss Olivia 'Shaw entertained a number of her friends at a jazz party last night to celebrate her twenty-first birthday.
