bridesmaid was Miss Mildred Johns, of Riverlea, niece of the bridegroom, and Mr. Jack Sturgeon, of Awatuna, was best man. The Rev. J. D. Smith, of Manaia, officiated. Mrs. McCarthy, of Kaponga, played the wedding march. After the ceremony a reception was held at the residence of the bride’s mother, when the usual toasts were honored. The happy couple left later by motor for New Plymotuh.
