INCREASED PRODUCTION.

BUTTER AND CHEESE FIGURES. Wellington, December 5. During November, the Dairy Division graded 192,490 cwt. of butter, compared with 150,514 cwt. last year, an increase of 27.88 per cent. The total graded for four months was 518,099 cwt., compared with 336,325 cwt. a year ago, an increase of 54.04 per cent. Last month s total comprised 178,114 cwt. salted, and ]4,oi G unsalted. The cheese graded in November totalled 161,771 cwt., compared with 112,56f1cwt. last year, a decrease of 6.25 per cent. The four months’ total is 236,073 cwt. (including 147,732c,wt. white, and 88,34 lewt. coloured!, against 314,175 cwt. in the corresponding period last season, a decrease of 24.89 per cent. Converted into the buter-fat equivalent these figures show an increase of 30.27 per cent, for the four months just ended compared with last season.
