A MATTER OF EXCHANGE.

S{ r ,—in the rush and tumble of politics and the busy season with the farmers a small matter has cropped up that we should be glad to have a little advice upon and that is the question of exchange. The directors of dairy companies have been informed by the agents that the exchange rates have gone up to 3as per cent.. Now, most, of the agents are also large importers of goods from England. They therefore; would not have to pay any exchange, and this would be all clear profit, and a mighty good profit too, something like 42s per ton of cheese. How is the National Dairy Association claiming to help us in this matter?—l am, etc., DIRECTOR.
