ENFORCING PROHIBITION LAWS. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. New York, Nov. 27. Speakers at the Convention of the World League against Alcoholism, held at Toronto, declared that the prevalence of the illicit liquor traffic in the legally dry countries of the world, especially in the United. States, waa due to the laxity of the enforcement of the prohibition laws. •United States delegates declared that the 18th amendment of the United States constitution would never be repealed, and the forces of law and. order would ultimately triumph over breaches of the prohibition law.
