BOWLING.
THE BANNER COMPETITION. It has been decided by the committee to commence the second round of the banner competition in the northern division on Saturday next. The fixtures will be as follows: — December 2.—Vogeltown v. New Plymouth, at Vogeltown; New Plymouth v. Waitara, at New Plymouth; West End v. Fitzroy (home and home). December 9.—West End v. Vogeltown, at West End; Waitara v. West End, a.t Waitara; New Plymouth v. Fitzroy (home ana home). December 16.—Vogeltown v. Fitzroy, at Vogeltown; Fitzroy v. Waitara, at Fitzroy; New Plymouth v. West. End (home and home). The date of the final match between Waitara and Vogeltown, at Waitara, will be arranged later.
