TARANAKI CASES. SESSIONS NEXT WEEK. A LENGTHY LIST. The NeVv Plymouth sessions of the Supreme Court, which commence on Tuesday, before His Honor Mr. Justice Chapman, promise to .be lengthy, aa there is- a considerable amount of business in both the criminal and civil lists to be transacted. There are eight criminal caees for trial, while two offenders will come up for sentence, one of them on two different sets of charges. In the civil list there will be 14 actions before the judge alone, four before the judge and jury of 12, and one before the judge and jury of 4. Five petitions for divorce, one of which is to be defended, are set down for hearing, while there in one application for a decree absolute. Included in the balance of the calendar are five motions for discharge in bankruptcy, and two originating summonses. There are also three appeal© from decisions given in the lower court.
