BIG DECREASE IN BRITAIN. By Telegraph.—Press Assn. —Copyright. Received Nov. 19, 5.5 p.m. London, Nov. IS. The Chamber of Shipping returns show a great decrease in tonnage laid up in Great Britain and Ireland. The number of ships idle on October 1 last was 456, with a tonnage of 824,624, compared with 583 with a tonnage of 1,114332 on July 1, and with 742 with a tonnage of 1,296,236 in October, 1921.
